  • How people are motivated to learn
  • How to engage learners in your workplace
  • Different ages and types of learners – and how you can spark learning in each person
  • How adult learners thrive on objectives and goals in training – and how you can structure your training to clearly show this
  • Creating training plans that are organised and give you and your learner ‘confidence’
  • Reviewing your training – for continuously improved results.

This course is designed for you to go back to your workplace and put together a portfolio for NZQA unit standards 19444 and 7108 – both unit standards link link to the New Zealand Certificate in Adult and Tertiary Teaching (Level 4).

Training Others in Relation to the Health & Safety at Work Act

Workplace trainers are more effective trainers when they have an understanding of learners. This intensive 1 day course will provide your supervisors, managers or workers that train others the workplace, to be more effective in the delivery of information.  This is a focus for the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015, where that requirements for training staff are very specific.  In providing trainers with the knowledge and tools, the risk to the organisation can be reduced as their trainees will "get it" and apply their new knowledge.

AMS Group has an article on the regulations as it relates to the new regulations and training in the workplace. You can find out more here.
