Over the past decade Rodney Young has been working at senior management level in the private education and corporate business sectors. He is highly qualified in adult education and business management, including a Bachelor of Management Studies, Diploma in Adult Education and Training and a Masters in Adult Literacy and Numeracy Education.
Much of Rodney Young’s experience has included managing the quality assurance of adult education programmes and staff professional development. Rodney is currently contracted as a Moderator to the Electricity Supply Industry Training Organisation (ESITO) for Retail and Business Administration, and the Motor Industry Training Organisation (MITO).
Rodney has many years experience training assessors and assessment designers, as well as being a designer of unit standard assessment material (including integrated assessment, RCC and RPL) for many industry training organisations and private training establishments throughout New Zealand.
His last twelve years of experience in adult education and training, senior-level management, and customer service in New Zealand has taught him that the key to operating a successful business is having a well trained and motivated workforce.
Rodney is passionate about empowering others to realise their potential by developing their skill base and building personal confidence. He gets a great sense of satisfaction having participants leave training sessions knowledgeable, energised and motivated to succeed.
Rodney has established his own business, called Pro-Skills , and also provides his services through Edbiz as an Associate, delivering our training and services throughout NZ.
