Edbiz is a brand of services developed to support educators in New Zealand.
Edbiz believes that education and training provide opportunities to make a positive impact on people’s lives and improve their standard of living.
We are passionate about supporting the people that make it happen.
We provide NZQA Provider and PTE Management Services and specialise in Assessment and Moderation so we can do our part by helping educators and assessors to recognise the achievements of their students or trainees.
We also support businesses who have staff training programmes and need Edbiz to train their trainers and work alongside their Trainers to develop training and assessment resources.
Edbiz supports management and staff and we believe that this will give staff more time to spend with their students or trainees.
We also believe that the best people to deliver our services are the experienced people who are working in and around our schools, organisations and workplaces. We have also identified a need for experts to offer their services through one brand of services, Edbiz.
Edbiz has several associates and network part time businesses and people who have a desire to pass on their experience and offer their services to support your organisation. Edbiz also has partnerships with existing education support businesses to provide access to their services through Edbiz or we will also refer you to other businesses that we recommend.
NZQA Accreditation
Edbiz is not an NZQA Provider. All of our Associates and Contractors have worked or still work within NZQA Providers for many years so our approach and services are built around our expertise, the NQF and the NZQA quality assurance approach.
We find that we are either operating alongside registered and accredited NZQA Providers to offer our services or we can work directly under the accreditations of some of our clients to train their staff.
Where Edbiz offers training that leads to the assessment of unit standards, we operate under an Accreditation arrangement or MOU with an Accredited NZQA Provider. We have an arrangement with Adventure Education for our Assessor Training and our Train the Trainer courses.
All aspects of our training and assessment are quality assured under their quality management systems including their quality assurance processes, internal and external moderation.
Edbiz has grown a network of independent contractors and education businesses who work with our Associates to bring your the range of training and services offered by Edbiz throughout NZ.
Edbiz Associates are also working alongside other adult education and training businesses, which means that you can access an even greater range of services for your business by working with Edbiz.
If we can’t provide what you need we will refer you to a education professional who can.
