Our Coaching package will introduce you to assessment, train you how to assess, design assessments relevant to your workplace, and how to moderate.

We work directly with your manager to ensure that all training is in the context of your workplace using our individual learning and assessment plan.

Your Coach will also coach and mentor you until you can manage the assessment and moderation processes for your organisation in accordance with your QMS polices and procedures.

Workplace Assessor and Moderator Opportunites

We are looking for Workplace Assessors, Provider Assessors and Tutors, Moderators, Assessment Writers, Adult Educators, Assessor Trainers and Coaches who can offer their services to our Edbiz clients. As you know in our industry it is quite difficult to provide assessment and moderation services for each area on the NZQA framework as we all need to operate within our individual subject matter expertise and the SSB or ITO assessor requirements in their AMAPS.
 
You will need to have expertise in one or more subject matters oran area within your industry and  hold or be prepared to gain US 4098, US 11551, US 11552 and other adult education unit standards. Holding the National Certificate in Adult Education and Training Levels 4 or 5 would be an advantage.


 
At Edbiz our goal is to establish a national network of contractors, Assessor Trainers, Adult Educators and Workplace Assessors who can conduct workplace assessments for our clients and train the trainers within training providers and secondary schools around New Zealand. 
 
We never know when we are going to get a job that requires a particular person so we are open to receiving registrations of interest at any time.
 
 
If we know that you would like do some workplace assessments we can actively promote the industry that you hold your expertise within the city or region that you would like to operate within.

Primarily Edbiz engages independent contractors however in some instances we may use a casual employment agreements.

Edbiz Independent Assessor and Moderator
An Independent Assessor or Moderator operates within their areas of expertise to primarily offer Assessment and Moderation Services to Edbiz.
We require services for internal moderation, assessment marking and student feedback or you could make yourself available for workplace assessment and candidate support services.
 
All Assessors andmoderators will be required to hold the required unit standards for the services you elect to offer in your registration of interest. If you do not hold the required unit standards please contact Edbiz and we can develop an individual coaching plan. More ...

Edbiz Coaches

Our Coaches works with an Assessor Trainer, or  and may be responsible for the coaching of:

Adult Educators
Workplace Trainers
Secondary School Teachers
Workplace Assessors
Training Provider Assessors

This service generally follows the Coach coaching sessions, or our assessor training course workshops. A Coach is involved with the follow up support, additional coaching and assessment against adult education and training & assessment unit standards.
 
A Coach can also be assigned to a staff member in any education organisation to help and support them while they are completing the courses or training outlined in their Professional Development Plan.
 
Edbiz also offers services to Workplace &/or Provider Candidates. This is a support and coaching service. The Coach is responsible for helping the workplace and/or provider to train and prepare the candidates for their assessments. If required an Coach may also be contracted to plan and conduct the assessment on behalf of the workplace or provider.
